This year, the Great Lakes Bioneers committee, has chosen to recognize two individuals as incredible Bioneers. Chris and Jody Treter of Higher Grounds Trading Co. accepted the passing of the Ceramic Bowl from last year's recipient, Jayne Leatherman Walker. They were chosen for the Bioneer of the year award to recognize them for their combined effort to fuse together both local and global networks regarding social justice and the protection of the environment.
