The Take! The Great Lakes Bioneers and Cinema Curiosa hosted a more than successful screening of the documentary “The Take” by Avi Lewis & Naomi Klein during the 2005 conference. Early comers were greeted with Tango music as preformed by Louie Blouin and Chris Williams, during their performance a slide show of creative images by Robert and Shana ParkeHarrison was shown. Just before the film was introduced, Steven Baum and Maribel Lalonde performed two Argentine Tango dances. The more than 200 film goers were than inspired by the story of worker owned factories in Argentina.
